Note: We recommended that you print these instructions. Some browsers will not permit you to switch back to these instructions once the certificate installation process has started.

To import the new root certificate (valid until Sept 2022) into Netscape Communicator or Navigator, perform the following steps:

1. In Netscape Communicator or Navigator, click on this link to download the certificate.
   
   A New Certificate Authority software wizard appears. This wizard guides you through the steps for accepting a new certificate.
   
   
   
   
2. Select 'Next'
   
   
   
   
3. Select 'Next'
   
   
   
   
4. Select 'Next'
   
   
   
   
5. Select 'Accept this Certificate Authority for Certifying network sites'
   Select 'Next'
   
   
   
   
6. Select 'Next'
   
   
   
   
7. When asked to choose a nickname, enter "NASA KSC TechDoc CA" without the quotes.
   Select 'Finish'

You have just imported the TechDoc Root Certificate. This will allow you to access TechDoc Web sites without any warnings. Click here to access the instructions for other browsers.
